Dressage Riders and Auditors to Attend Four-Day Adult Camp Hosted by Local Association

The Kansas City Dressage Society will host a four-day adult camp for dressage riders June 25-29 at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.

Amateur adult riders and auditors will spend four days attending lectures, group training sessions and private training sessions with USDF certified instructors Vicki Hammers-O’Neil, Sarah Martin and Brandilee Riveria.

“This camp provides riders of all levels an opportunity to enjoy intensive dressage instruction and training in a fun and educational environment,” said Kathy O’Brien, Board member and education chair for the Kansas City Dressage Society. “The Kansas City Dressage Society strives to provide educational opportunities to dressage enthusiasts as well as promote the sport of dressage. This camp helps achieve both.”

This training will help enhance the riders’ relationships with their horses by improving their overall skills in the sport of dressage. Thanks to a $1,545 grant provided by The Dressage Foundation through the Violet M. Hopkins Fund, association members will be able to attend the program at a reduced cost.
