Susan Fawcett and Doctor Doabunch
Team #80
My good friend, Carolyn Weaver, loaned me her horse, Dr. Do A Bunch (aka Poncho) for a Century Club ride in our local Cochise Dressage schooling show. I've ridden Poncho off and on since moving to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1996. He is an Appendix Quarter Horse with Bold Ruler in his pedigree. Carolyn has ridden him in eventing through training level. For a couple of years he worked at our local handicapped riding program, CANTER, where I am an instructor. He was an absolute favorite of riders of many disabilities and ages and program volunteers. Carolyn has owned him since he was three years old. He has retired from eventing and is now just showing and clinicing in dressage and going on trail rides. I learned about dressage from Carl Bauer at Skidmore College in the 1950s and have been hooked ever since. This is my third Century Club ride. What a great program!
