Young Rider Dream Program Application

Completed applications and all required documentation must be received by TDF's office on or before Saturday, October 7 to be considered. No late applications, or parts of applications, will be accepted.  Please read the following information carefully and contact us with questions.

The purpose of the Dream Program is to enable young adult riders, training and competing at Third Level or above, to enhance their understanding of dressage training through observation and exposure to top trainers, riders, facilities, and events in Wellington, Florida.  Riders aged 18-22 (during the dates of the program) are eligible to apply.

Selection will be based on merit, riding proficiency, a history of volunteering in the dressage community, and commitment to training in the sport of dressage. Participants will be expected to share the educational benefits of the trip through online journals, articles, photos, and videos.

TDF covers the costs of travel and lodging and will provide a daily per diem for food.  Any additional expenses, such as souvenirs, will be the responsibility of individuals.

We encourage you to review this application and gather all materials prior to starting the online application process. Once you start, your work cannot be saved. Helpful tip- type your answers into a word document, save, and then copy and paste your answers into this form. The link to download the Word file is available in the right-hand sidebar of this page.

Recommendation Letters

Provide two (2) letters of recommendation – At least one must be from someone within the dressage/equestrian industry who can reflect on you as a horseperson, such as a trainer, instructor, or judge. If you include a personal letter of recommendation, it MAY NOT be written by a parent or relative.  Examples of personal references include teachers, coaches, mentors, etc.
