The Dressage Foundation is pleased to announce that TDF’s Oregon Dressage Society Linda S. Acheson Education Fund will again be accepting grant applications from September 15th through November 15th.
The ODS Linda S. Acheson Fund provides grants to ODS, ODS Chapters, and ODS Committees that are organizing educational events which will benefit the Oregon dressage community, as well as further the mission of the Oregon Dressage Society. 2017 Grants were awarded to four ODS Chapters and used for Adult Amateur Dressage Camps, a Musical Freestyle Clinic and a “Turning Fear into Focus” Workshop.
One participant of Central Oregon Chapter’s Adult Amateur Camp shared, “This Camp brought new instructors to our area and new dressage friends with a great sense of camaraderie!”
Complete applications must be received by The Dressage Foundation’s office on or before November 15, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted. Grant amounts will typically range from $250 - $1,000 and grants must be used for an event to be held in the year following the application deadline. The Dressage Foundation welcomes donations to the ODS Linda S. Acheson Fund, which will allow more grants to be awarded. One-time donations can be made to TDF for the Fund, or donations can be set up through a monthly giving option.
