I first sat on a horse when I was five years old. My dad did field trials, and we rode Quarter Horses. I am one of nine children and rode by “the seat of my pants.”
After college, I had the opportunity to take lessons and participate in hunter/jumpers. Both of my daughters showed through high school. I enjoyed fox hunting, trail riding, and later in life, dressage.
Just to be given the opportunity to ride God’s most magnificent creature has given me such joy.
