I am 80 years old and have been riding since I was four. I have ridden and shown Saddlebreds, Arabians, and my lovely Paint mare, Little Bit, aka Rainey. She was an event horse for almost 10 years. At that time, she was owned by my friend and coach, Janice Holmes.
I had my first Century Club ride five years ago on my Arabian mare, Darma. She was 29 at the time, and I retired her afterward. Janice gave Rainey to me after that.
Isi Brown has been my very good friend and coach, helping Rainey and me form the close bond we now have. We are showing Western dressage and are doing well. I want to thank Isi Brown for doing this for me. It was the best part of the year.
