My passion for horses began as a child with family trail rides. I dreamed of having a horse of my own one day. That dream was finally realized when I got my first horse, Aspen, a talented hunter/jumper. We competed in many local shows until retiring from the sport.
After several years away from competition, I decided to pursue dressage, which I have always been drawn to for its elegance and harmony. Under the guidance of trainer Emilee Anderson, I have continued to develop my skills and deepen my appreciation for dressage.
Today I am honored to share my journey with the talented horse, "True Texas Colors" (Blue). Achieving the Century Club ride represents more than reaching a milestone; it is a celebration of the fulfillment of childhood dreams and the belief that it is never too late to pursue a passion.
Participating in the Century Club ride has been especially meaningful to me. It represents not only the achievement of a personal goal reached through dedication and perseverance, but also a lifelong love of horses. I feel fortunate to have been able to continue riding, learning, and further developing my skills. I am grateful to every horse, instructor, family member, and friend who has been a part of this journey. I look forward to continuing in a sport in which I continue to grow, and I cherish the special bond that horses bring into our lives.
