I came late to horses. When I retired at 65, my sisters, both life-long equestrians, encouraged me to start riding. And I fell in love with horses: riding them, caring for them, and discovering their amazing and complex personalities.
With the help of an excellent (and very patient) instructor, I began training in dressage with Makenzie Harvey of Timberline Farm. Makenzie introduced me to a kind (and very patient) little Paint mare – Rhythm of the Rain. Rain and I began our dressage journey, building our partnership.
