Five years ago, in 2020, we did a ride, and now here we are again, still riding. Thanks to Ann Eilinger, who helped me prepare for my Century Club ride. As a single-person farm owner, I needed some assistance. El Niño is now 28 and holding his own, minus some teeth. I am still able to do most of the barn work and maintain two horses at home, except for the winter months. I envy those who only have to maybe groom and then get on and ride. I am just pleased that I can do it all and still throw a leg over him. Thanks to TDF for what they do to support such a vast and diverse group of seniors and their mounts. I love to read all their stories.
