The Dressage Foundation (TDF) is proud to announce the recipients of two $1,000 grants from its Para-Equestrian Dressage Fund. This Fund was established in 2018 to provide financial support for para-riders to attend educational events.
Genevieve Rohner (UT) is a member of the USEF Emerging Athlete Program and plans to use the grant funding to train with Para-Dressage Olympian, Kate Shoemaker, in Florida over the winter. Earlier this year, Genevieve and horse, Donut, achieved the USDF Year-End Para Grade IV Reserve Champion. Genevieve is also a recent Pony Club member and has already been certified in all the D levels.
Genevieve said, "This grant is special because I am going to my first CPEDI in March in Wellington. I have dreamed about it for so long, and it’s finally here. TDF is helping make it happen!"

Veronica Gogan (VA) is a lifelong horsewoman who discovered para-dressage in 2018. Veronica is a member of the USEF Emerging Athlete Program and will use this grant funding to train with Lauren Sprieser for one month. In 2020, Veronica and horse, Robin, won the Grade II Para Dressage Emerging Athlete Championship with a high score in Intro A and a reserve high score in Intro B.
Veronica said, “I am so thankful for this grant from TDF. It gives me the opportunity to continue training with Lauren Sprieser who has been a huge part of my development. It is so wonderful for para-equestrians to have these opportunities.”
