TDF Announces Recipient of 2023 Team Tate Mentorship and Leadership Fund Grant

The Dressage Foundation (TDF) is pleased to announce Christine Headley (WA) as the recipient of the $5,000 Team Tate Mentorship and Leadership Fund Grant for 2023. The Fund, established by the Tate family in 2020, provides financial assistance to dressage professionals to further their business, leadership, and riding skills.

Christine is a United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Certified Instructor and has been a dressage instructor for 23 years with a wide variety of students. Christine has been a long-time volunteer with her local GMO and Pony Clubs. She intends to use her grant funding to work with Jen Verharen of Cadence Coaching and to participate in Lilo Fore clinics.

Christine said, “The Team Tate Fund grant is going to make such a big difference in my life as a professional rider. I know this grant will be a huge boost towards giving me the strategies and tools to help me reach my goals. Thank you, TDF, and all of the donors who help make these dreams come true!”

The goal of the Team Tate Mentorship and Leadership Fund is to provide grants of up to $5,000 for dressage professionals, age 25 and over, to receive business, leadership, or personal coaching education, and to work with their dressage mentors to improve equestrian skills.  The online application form can be found at www.dressagefoundation.org. Applications are due on or before July 15th.
