The Dressage Foundation Welcomes Reese Koffler To Board of Directors

The Dressage Foundation (TDF) extends a special welcome to new Board of Directors member, Reese Koffler (KY).

A lifelong horsewoman, Reese brings a wealth of experience and leadership to TDF through her extensive involvement in the dressage industry as an educator, competitor, volunteer, and advocate for the sport.

Reese is based at her Maplecrest Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics and a Master's degree in International Commerce from the University of Kentucky. She is a USDF FEI A Certified Instructor, a USDF Diamond Award medalist, and an FEI-level competitor.

Additionally, Reese is a Licensed Certified Equine Appraiser, Equine Business Consultant, and Professor at the University of Kentucky. She is also well known throughout the dressage community as the longtime cohost of the Dressage Radio Show podcast.

Throughout her career, Reese has dedicated significant time to serving the equestrian industry through volunteer leadership. She is a member of several USEF committees and has served on the Boards of Directors for two Kentucky-based equestrian nonprofit organizations.

Reese said, “I am honored to be the newest member of The Dressage Foundation’s Board of Directors. As a dedicated rider and trainer, I have seen firsthand how many opportunities this organization provides to riders, trainers, and enthusiasts across the country. From supporting young riders as they take their first steps into competitive dressage, to offering grants that advance the careers of professional trainers, the Foundation plays an essential role in the growth and success of our equestrian community.”

Beth Baumert, TDF’s President, said, “Reese has been a TDF fan and supporter for many years so it feels natural and appropriate for her to become part of the leadership team. We welcome her ideas and her enthusiasm!”
